Night one dinner at Bonefish…I got to talking with some amazing heroes at the table next to us…2 were battling lung cancer and the other a 10 year ovarian cancer survivor!

The rest of the my dinner party Toni, Mrs. Michigan and Remy, Mrs Indiana…and the husbands of the heroes I met.

My dear friend, Lisa Proctor, who joined me for the 8hr road trip today.

MONDAY

Monday Night Arrival in Chicago. The hotel is beautiful and I have already gotten to meet some of the amazing women here for the pageant. Dinner was with great company and I couldn’t help but strike up a conversation with the table next to us and meet some extraordinary heroes in the process. YOU LADIES ARE AMAZING. I look forward to you sharing your cancer stories on the road to the cure site. God Bless each of you!

TUESDAY

Tuesday Day was a fun, relaxing day visiting with some of the ladies and enjoying some shopping time too! I had lunch with Mrs. Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, Arkansas and my dear friend Lisa Proctor. Then to Orientation…what a GREAT time!! The entire pageant team is amazing as are all the ladies!! This is just the most wonderful experience already.
